Stayed here before and always been great service, food and atmosphere. Staff are brilliant. Had an issue with our room and was resolved immediately.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel, golf courses, rooms and cleanliness were all very good . The food was varied and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. The service in the restaurant ranged from excellent by Hettie to less attentive by others, meaning we had a pleasant dining experience on our first evening and we were sat next to a golf party of 16 the next night. Not ideal if you want a quiet evening meal.

Isla and Matilda were fantastic

A really clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel and grounds are really nice. I was surprised how big the hotel is. All the staff we met were very friendly, polite and helpful so we will definitely return.

We had as usual a lovely experience, both n the restaurant for our dinner at night and a most welcoming experience again for our breakfast. It makes a very special difference when a member of staff says 'How nice to see you again', it is much appreciated!

We have visited a lot of the q hotels ,this was our first visit here and it was just as good as all the other ones.As soon as we turned up at reception we were greeted with a lovely smile and very helpful staff.Our room (271) was very nice, lots of space, we had a lovely view of the golf course, the bed and bedding was top quality. We had a swim and it was very clean and the water was nice and warm. Our evening meal was great quality and taste, we were looked after by Denish who was wonderful, he was very funny and is a great asset to Belton Wood , I can see that he would be one of many reasons why you would want to revist the hotel. The breakfast was as expected great quality and a good selection, again the staff were all wonderful. This hotel is doing everything right and we will definitely visit again.

Overall the weekend stay was very enjoyable once we actually got into the room. We'd booked a deluxe ground floor kingsize room and were checked into a double-double on the first floor. When this was questioned at Front Desk, we were told it was a complimentary upgrade. This room had a single armchair, the king we'd booked had a sofa and an armchair and was much more spacious. It was very clean, but had to ask for a second bathtowel, only to be told the second towel is kept in the wardrobe! The room was dark and was lit only by three lamps, no downlighters. Signage on the corridors is poor. Breakfast buffet was quite extensive and relatively well cooked but tepid both days. Sign warned of hot plates, but were cold on both days.

Hotel was excellent, meal and breakfast first class. We were on a golf break so the overall package was exactly what we wanted. Rooms very clean and roomy.

We booked an overnight spa break at Belton Woods through Spa Breaks, and what a fantastic experience from start to finish! Our package included a 50 minute spa treatment each, robes and access to the lovely spa facilities, including the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and relaxation area. It was the perfect opportunity to switch off and unwind. Our room was absolutely beautiful, with the added bonus of a complimentary minibar stocked with wine and beers, such a lovely touch! The package also included £35 per person towards our evening meal and a delicious cooked breakfast the following morning. We felt the whole experience offered excellent value for money. A very special mention must go to Hayley, who gave me the most incredible relaxing head, back and shoulder massage. Genuinely one of the best massages I’ve ever had! She was absolutely fantastic and made the experience even more special. I’d also like to mention Holly, who looked after us during our evening meal. She was so attentive, polite and welcoming, and really is a credit to the team. Nothing was too much trouble. From the beautiful accommodation and lovely spa facilities to the wonderful staff, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I would 100% recommend Belton Woods and will definitely be returning! Thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable.
